It is with great sadness that our family shares the loss of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Marjorie passed away peacefully and was surrounded by her family on January 10 at the age of 94.
Marj was born to James and Terry on November 3, 1928. In 1949, she met the love of her life, they were married in 1950, and they went on to have children.
Marj was a stay-at-home mom with her children. She later took a job at the school board until she retired in 1993. She lived a full life and was one of the strongest women. She loved spending time with her family, going up to the cabin, gardening and baking.
Marj was predeceased by her parents, her sons Jim and Scott, and her brother Jerry. She is survived by her husband Wesley, children Wendy (Frank), Doug (Kerry), Terri (Mark), and brother Roger (Shirley). She was also blessed to have seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Marj spent the last year in ECU and we would like to thank the staff for their love and compassion that they showed her.
There will be a service to honour Marj at noon on Saturday, January 21, at Living Water Foursquare Church, 4640 Manson Avenue, with pastor Mike Martinig officiating; a reception will follow.
