It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mal. He is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Chenoa (James), son Daren (Ainsley), grandchildren Rhyley and Regan, sister Ruby, and sisters-in-law Glenda, Betty and Heather and their families. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Ron.
Mal passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer, which he fought with his quiet strength and determination. He was truly grateful for each day and was most proud of Chenoa and Daren and the life he had lived.
A special thank-you to Dr. Marentette for her exceptionally kind and caring way with Mal. Also, grateful thanks to the oncology unit in Powell River.
