The family of Joshua Daniel Bourcier Hurrie is heartbroken to announce his sudden passing on November 15, 2022.
Josh was born in Powell River on November 28, 1988.
He lived most of his life in Powell River but also lived in Spruce Grove and Calgary, Vancouver and Kelowna.
Josh has left behind his grieving family: his mother Renee Bourcier Bullock (stepfather Casey), his father Daniel Francis Hurrie, grandparents Don and Charlene Bourcier, Barbara Mullis (Chuck) and Sam Hurrie (Jill), and his siblings Jade Bourcier (Kevin), Mira Hurrie, and Kaden and Karissa Bullock. Josh also had many aunts/uncles/cousins and friends. He will truly be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
Josh is remembered as a kindhearted and generous soul. He was talented in many different ways. He loved writing and playing music, woodworking and creating, skateboarding, and he was extremely funny! Friends and family have shared that they have never laughed so hard as when Josh was around. He enjoyed camping and boating and spending time with family and friends.
Josh’s burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Kelly Creek, Powell River, followed by a celebration of life in April 2023.
