City of Powell River parks crew are working on repairing the Willingdon Beach weir after the king tide and storm damage from a month ago.
Crews are raising the rip rap and path height so storm surges in the future won’t wash out the surface of the pathway.
Crews will be working at the Willingdon Beach site for the next week or so.
While this is an active construction zone, the city is not closing the pathway, but is asking the public to be cautious of crews and machinery.
