Even though Environment Canada has the rain icon showing on its website forecast for Feb. 26 in the Sechelt area, it says the chances of the wet stuff materializing are at 30 per cent. It is predicting a dry day on Thursday and clouds and day time high temperatures in the 10 to 11 degree mark running through the weekend. .
The temperature outlook from Weatherhood is more optimistic. It is calling for the mercury to hit 14 degrees today and for temperatures to reach those balmy levels again on Friday and Saturday.
A slight (seven per cent) chance of rain for today is being called for. Weatherhood predicts the Sunshine Coast will have a dry day on Friday, wit the chances of rain at less than 30 per cent on the rest of the days throughout the first weekend of March, 2025.
