The sun should be around on the Sunshine Coast for most of this weekend and next week, with the exception of one day – I’m talking to you, Monday – which is forecast to be cloudy all day.
As for today, April 11, Environment Canada says we’ll still see lots of clouds over the Coast with a 30 per cent chance of showers and some sunny periods thrown in, in anticipation of a sunny weekend. You can expect a high today of 10-C with a low of 2-C overnight with a 30 per cent chance of showers.
But then Saturday comes along, which will be mainly sunny with a northwest wind of 20 km/h and high of 12-C and low of 2-C overnight. Sunday brings more sun and a high of 12-C and low of 5-C overnight.
Meanwhile Weatherhood, is calling for sunny periods all day with some clouds and no rain. It’s also calling for sunny days for all of next week, with a few cloudy periods thrown in for good measure.
The sun will set at 8:03 p.m. Friday and rise again Saturday at 6:26 a.m.
