Daytime high temperatures of 18 degrees C today.

Another two days of sunny spring conditions are in the forecast.

The southern Sunshine Coast is slated to reach daytime high temperatures of 18 degrees C today according to Environment Canada.  That's well above the average for April 17, which that entity cites at 14 degrees.  Tomorrow looks to be a carbon copy of today, with sunny skies and 17 degrees set to greet the start of the Easter long weekend.

Rain is forecast to move into the area on Friday evening, and Weatherhood says there is only a five per cent chance of the wet stuff impacting this Saturday. The likelihood of rain ramps up to 52 per cent for Sunday and then scales back to an 11 per cent chance of precipitation on the following day.

Through to Monday, Weatherhood is calling for a mix of sun and cloud, with overnight lows on the decline.  Tonight the mercury will hover at 8 degrees but by Monday (April 21) the overnight readings are predicted to be just 3 degrees above the freezing mark.
