Powell River Skating Club members [from left] Zeyta Thomas, six, Anna Salome, five, and Samantha, Ratzlaff, eight, took part in a seminar in Gibsons earlier this month led by three-time world figure skating champion and multiple Olympic medalist Patrick Chan and two-time Canadian national bronze medalist in pairs Elizabeth Putnam.
The young skaters spent two hours on the ice and also had one hour of off-ice training, as well as getting autographs and making new friends with other skaters in attendance.
