The weekend will see wet weather and high winds, with up to 40 millimetres of rain on Saturday and 35 kilometre winds Saturday afternoon.

The weather monitoring mechanism installed at the Peak supplies direct weather updates to prpeak.com in a network called Weatherhood, and can be downloaded as an app onto mobile device or seen on the Peak’s webpage. According to Weatherhood’s top-five ranking for wettest areas, on Friday, November 3, qathet ranked number one at 2.8 millimetres of precipitation; Gibsons on the lower Sunshine Coast was ranked windiest at 23 kilometres an hour, and Whistler ranked coldest 4.8 degrees Celsius.
