Love for his hometown led Neil Frost to become a REALTOR® in January 2007. Fifteen years later, he is still fulfilling his goal of helping people buy and sell homes in the community where he was born and raised. When he reflects on the past decade and a half, a lot of things have changed, but one thing has not – his commitment to providing the best service to his clients.

“I offer my clients drone and aerial photography, 3D virtual tours, floor plans and professional photography,” he says. “I use all the bells and whistles that are needed in 2022 to properly market a home. Then, at any time, anywhere, buyers are able to tour a home virtually or visit the neighbourhood via drone video.

“Because all clients have individual needs, I tailor every listing and every offer to suit that person, and work diligently with them to achieve their particular goals.”

Neil sees himself as less of a salesperson and more of a real estate consultant for those making one of the largest financial transactions of their lifetime.

“I am here to answer your questions and give advice about buying or selling in this market,” says Neil. “Since I became a REALTOR®, I have seen a lot of changes, from the technology to new government regulations all the way up to these unprecedented market conditions we are currently facing.

“What I like about this career is that every day is different. I enjoy a challenge, I enjoy problem-solving. The social aspect is right up my alley – working with people, helping buyers and sellers, and cooperating with my fellow REALTOR®s. The creative aspect is where I really excel, whether I am marketing a property or marketing myself, you know I’m going to have that edge.

“Giving back to our community is one of the many reasons I am proud to be a REALTOR® with Royal LePage. The Shelter Foundation, the national charity founded by Royal LePage, raised 3.3 million dollars in Canada last year for women’s shelters – and all money raised by the local Royal LePage office stays right here in the community, supporting Grace House.”

Neil’s personal approach to real estate resonates with his clients. People he has worked with before will come to him for advice and also refer friends and neighbours, which is probably why he is consistently one of the top-selling REALTOR®s in the community.

“I got a call the other day from a client on the fifth anniversary of purchasing their home, and they had reached out to say thank you again,” he says. “That meant a lot to me, moments like that are why I continue to do what I do.

“If you call me, you’re going to get me. I don’t have a team and I won’t be passing you off to someone else. I take my responsibility to you very seriously, and I think that’s why clients are happy to tell their friends about me or come back to me when they’re ready to buy or sell again.”

As president of the Powell River Sunshine Coast Real Estate Board, Neil is fully informed on the current initiatives to create more transparency, more accountability and increase consumer confidence in the business.

“I’m a big believer in honesty and integrity in our profession,” he says.
