During this holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to everyone in the beautiful North Island–Powell River community. This time of year gives us the opportunity to pause, reflect and connect with the people that matter most.
The holiday season is special to us for different reasons, whether it’s about gathering with loved ones, celebrating traditions or taking a much needed break. It’s also a time to express gratitude and appreciation for our communities.
Over the past year, we have faced many challenges, but we have also come together in remarkable ways to support one another. I hope we can all continue to come together and help those who may be struggling more than others, support local small businesses, and lend a hand or kind word however we can.
This spirit of kindness is truly what makes our region so special.
