Poll: Half look forward to City of Powell River organics program

Just over 50 per cent of respondents plan to put compost curbside starting in late March

The Peak polled 732 readers and asked the question: Will you separate organics from household garbage when City of Powell River supplies a separate compost bin in March?

The poll ran from 12/29/2023 to 2/21/2024. Of the 732 votes, we can determine that 467 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
