Given that the ferry system is in as much disarray as the water system and given that the ferries are almost universally late, the bus system on the Coast cannot possibly keep up. My wife was on the (late) 4:40 and missed her bus, requiring her to wait 30 minutes at the terminal. This is bad enough but there is only a very small bus shelter there. Given that there will likely be no improvements to the ferry system in my lifetime, maybe somebody could spend some of the unspent taxes that I paid this year and add some more pews to the waiting area so that long-suffering bus riders might find some comfort?
