Congratulations ladies, what a remarkable way to celebrate International Women's Day [“Powell River/Texada ferry crossings feature all-female crew,” March 8].
In a normal (subject to interpretation) world, there would be no need to celebrate an all-female crew at the helm of a public transportation vessel, as it would be completely commonplace.
When the long overdue era in history finally arrives, where women drive the corporate and political landscape, we will all inhabit a far less sexist society.
Is this a sexist opinion? Well that's up to you, the reader, to decide.
