Jacob Duyvesteyn played his juvenile rep soccer with the Powell River Youth Soccer Association under coach Tony Leach, and played Tier 2 soccer for the Vancouver Island Performance League with Coach Bodo von Schilling.
He played for the Powell River rep team, coached by Leach and Dan Agius in the 2018 provincials, and scored off a penalty kick to help win the game that advanced them to the bronze medal game, which they won.
Jacob has played for Powell River Villa for two seasons as a right back and right wing. He is currently finishing his grade 12 year at Brooks Secondary School and hopes to continue having a great year with Villa.
He was born on July 30, 2004.
Villa's next home game is Saturday, February 5, at Timberlane Park against Nanaimo United FC. Kickoff is 1:30 pm.
