Powell River Kings outshot the visiting Langley Rivermen by a significant margin on Friday, October 28, but were unable to solve goaltender Ajeet Gundarah, who turned aside all 40 attempts by the home team.

After a scoreless first 40 minutes, Langley opened the scoring at 2:20 of the third period at even strength, then added a pair of power play goals at 8:53 and 17:47 en route to a 3-0 win.

Kyle Metson stopped 23 of 26 shots for the Kings, who are winless in six home games so far in the 2022/2023 BC Hockey League (BCHL) season.

Attendance at Hap Parker Arena was 526.
