Twenty four hours after dropping a 4-2 decision on home ice to Langley Rivermen, Powell River Kings suffered the same fate, by the same 4-2 score, on Saturday, February 10, at Hap Parker Arena.

Alex Sandhu equalized in the second period for the Kings, scoring at even strength in response to the Rivermen's first period goal. Wyatt Davis was credited with an assist on the play.

Langley took control of the BC Hockey League (BCHL) game in period three, with a trio of goals over a span of seven minutes and 15 seconds. Simone Dadiè had the only response for Powell River; his sixth goal of the season, set up by Sandhu and Christian Maro, came in the last minute of play.

Justin Katz made 30 saves for the Kings, who were outshot 34-31. Both teams had three power plays. Rivermen capitalized on one of their opportunities; Kings were zero for three with the extra skater. Attendance was 756.

Powell River in on the road this weekend with games in Surrey (February 16), Chilliwack (February 17) and Coquitlam (February 19).
