Powell River Kings have announced their first signing for the 2022/2023 BC Hockey League season.
Marcus Dashevsky, a forward from Richmond who was born in 2004, will join the club.
Dashevsky spent the last five seasons with St. George’s Academy in Vancouver. He scored 12 goals and added 21 assists in 36 games last year.
“We were impressed when he visited this season,” stated coach Brock Sawyer on the Kings' website. “His character and maturity is something that we value as a staff and we are pleased to add the big body and skill that Marcus possesses to our lineup. He’s coming out of a good program that is well coached and we expect him to contribute to our team next season.”
