Powell River Kings have added a forward to their roster for the 2021/2022 BC Hockey League season. The addition of 2003-born Aaron Neal of North Vancouver was announced in a media release on February 10.
Neal spent the previous two seasons with Vancouver North West Hawks of the BC U18 AAA League, playing in six exhibition games during the 2020/2021 campaign, scoring two goals and four assists. He was also the team’s co-captain.
“We are excited to welcome Aaron and the Neal family to the Kings organization for next season,” stated Kings’ general manager Chad van Diemen. “Aaron is a big player who skates well, uses his size to his advantage, and will be a tough player for opponents to play against. He is coming from a good program.”
Neal is looking forward to high-level hockey and playing alongside older, experienced teammates.
“I’m very excited to be making the jump to Junior A,” stated Neal. "It is something I am ready to take on and see what it offers.”
