Powell River Logger Sports continues today, Sunday, July 16, with gates opening at Loggers Memorial Bowl at 9:30 am.
The show at the Willingdon Beach venue begins at 11 am with events including Axe Throw, Tree Climb, Underhand Chop, Single Buck, 4-Board Springboard, 140CC Hot Saw, Unlimited Hot Saw, Obstacle Pole, Double Buck, and Jack and Jill.
Chainsaw carving judging will begin at 1 pm.
Admission to Powell River Logger Sports is free, but organizers are asking attendees to bring a non-perishable food item, or cash, for donation to Powell River Action Centre Food Bank, to try to fill a gravel truck with donations.
