It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Owen Keddy. He passed peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Owen was happiest spending time with his family and friends and working in his garden. He loved to help others and volunteered at Powell River Therapeutic Riding Association for more than 25 years after retiring from the mill.
He is survived by his wife Valerie, sons Mike (Janet) and Keith (Tammy), daughter Linda (Mickey) Adam, six grandchildren and six great-grandsons, as well as his sister Lena Fisher, brother Gordon (Ruth) Keddy and many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the home support workers and nurses, and a special thank-you to Dr. Glen for his exceptional kindness.
