Nellie passed away peacefully. Her husband Bill predeceased her in 1999. She leaves behind her daughter Diane (Paul); grandson Gary predeceased in 2001; son Ron (Monica); granddaughters Taylor and Jordan; son Brad (Kyle); granddaughter Autumn; and grandson Lucas.
She was hard-working all her life; she gardened, was a superb cook and a wonderful hostess. She played a lot of cards.
She loved being with her family and was a kind, caring friend who remembered everyone’s birthday.
She lived and thrived for 7.5 years at Kiwanis Garden Manor Assisted Living. She loved her time there and all the activities. Many heartfelt thanks to the amazing kind and caring staff, as well as the friends that she made. From there she went to Evergreen Extended Care for her final six months.
The family is grateful to the caregivers for keeping her as comfortable and pain free as possible.
