Lillian passed away peacefully in Willingdon Creek long-term care facility in her 93rd year. She was born and raised on a farm in Hayley, Quebec.

Mom met and later married Melvin Dale Price (Bud). Together they raised four children (Bob, Linda, Wanda and Tanya) in Wildwood.

Mom enjoyed the outdoors: camping, canoeing and hiking. She also enjoyed playing bridge, lane bowling and archery.

Mom worked shucking and packaging oysters at Okeover Arm, at Canada Post, and Powell River General Hospital in the kitchen department.

In retirement, mom competed in lawn bowling and horseshoes. She lived in Yuma, Salmon Arm and Quesnel until dad’s passing in 1996. Mom returned to Powell River and later married Robert (Doug) Foster in 2009. After Doug’s passing in 2012, mom moved into the Olive Devaud residence and then to the Willingdon Creek care facility until her passing.

Lillian leaves to mourn her four children, Bob (Wendy) Price; Linda Schwark (Terry); Wanda Price; and Tanya Price-Wright; and their families. She also leaves three stepchildren Julia (Roger) Lamoureux; Sonya Bardati (Ken); and Robert Bolduc; and their families.

Lillian was predeceased by her two husbands: Melvin Dale Price (Bud) andRobert Doug Foster; a brother Herbert (Herby) Meigs; a sister Doris Smith; and her parents Herbert Samuel Meigs and Mary Louse Lamadeline.

The family extends a thank-you to the staff at Willingdon Creek for the loving care and compassion mom received.
