It is with the deepest sorrow and immense love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Mom and Baba, Lena Twerdohlib, of Powell River, British Columbia, on February 23, 2024, at the age of 87 years.
She was predeceased by our dad, Walter Twerdohlib; her parents Alex Ozero and Eva Ozero (Haponiuk) of Bonnyville, AB; and her son-in-law Trevor Fotheringham of Victoria, BC. She is survived by her brothers Nick (Nancy), Walter (Margaret) and David (Debbie); sons Roland (Janice) and Terry (Fanny); daughters Linda (Todd), Karen (Steve) and Corrie (Trevor); eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by all she touched, and it will take some time for all of us to learn how to live without her in our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for
prayers and extending kindness to others.
