Powell River RCMP reported the following for January 11 to 17, 2023.

January 17; Thunder Bay Street, 7100 block
At approximately 7:20 am, Powell River RCMP received a report of a theft from a vehicle that had been parked on the 7100 block of Thunder Bay Street. The vehicle had been left unlocked and a red and black canvas bag containing a cordless Milwaukee drill, impactor and sawzall, and some Klein electric tools, were taken.
Powell River RCMP reminds all residents to lock all car doors and windows when their vehicle is parked and to keep all garage and house doors closed and locked.
