Weatherhood forecast indicates warm weather for qathet region

Clear skies and mid-20s temperatures for Friday, Saturday and Sunday

SUNNY SKIES: There is no rain in the immediate forecast for the qathet region this weekend. Patrons of yesterday's Thursday Night Market experienced clear skies and warm weather. Market vendors set up in-between the Powell River Logger Sports carvings on the Willingdon Beach upper walkway.

According to the Weatherhood station above the Peak office (4493F Marine Avenue, Powell River) today, Friday, July 19, the temperature high is predicted to rise to 25 degrees Celsius later in the afternoon.

Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21, the forecast predicts the daytime temperatures to be between 26 and 27 degrees with the evening temperatures cooling down to 15 degrees. There is zero chance of precipitation this weekend.

The Weatherhood top five ranking for the day indicates that Whistler is the warmest in the region at 29.3 degrees and the qathet region is the second warmest, at 25.4 degrees. The ultraviolet (UV) exposure is at moderate risk and the air quality index (AQI) is at 33, a low health risk.
