BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported three COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from October 10 to 16.
Four cases were reported in the area from October 3 to 9.
One COVID-19 case was announced in each of the three previous reporting periods (September 26 to October 2, September 19 to 25 and September 12 to 18).
Five cases were reported in the local health area from September 5 to September 11, one fewer than the August 29 to September 4 reporting period, when six cases were reported.
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through September 2021 is 120, according to BCCDC.
