The Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating a report of an assault on a BC Ferry on Dec. 26.
The incident occurred in the elevator of the 4:20 p.m. ferry, which left from Horseshoe Bay travelling to Langdale.
There may have been several witnesses who saw the suspect and victim immediately after the assault when the elevator opened.
The victim, a 79 year old Sechelt man, suffered injuries to his face. Anyone who witnessed this incident, who has not already spoken with police, is asked to call the RCMP at 604-885-2266, file 2024-9895.
