A small fire burning in the Dodd Lake area is now under control, according to the Coastal Fire Centre.
Centre spokesperson Dorothy Jakobsen said the Dodd Lake blaze was characterized as a spot fire, less than .009 hectares, and there was an initial attack crew working on the fire as of 2 pm, Thursday, July 11.
The online BC wildfire dashboard lists the fire as having started on Wednesday, July 10. The fire is located on the northeast tip of Dodd Lake.
It is suspected that the fire is human-caused.
