UPDATED: Sailings cancelled between Saltery Bay and Earls Cove

Morning round-trip did not sail due to loading ramp problem

Due to a mechanical difficulty with the loading ramp at Saltery Bay Terminal, BC Ferries announced just before 10 am that some sailings between Earls Cove (Sechelt) and Saltery Bay (Powell River) today, September 3, were cancelled.

7:25 am departing Saltery Bay
8:20 am departing Earls Cove

Malaspina Sky resumed service starting with the 9:25 am departure from Saltery Bay, which departed 64 minutes behind schedule, according to BC Ferries.

At 10:40 am, BC Ferries announced that the 10:35 am departure from Earls Cove, 11:45 am sailing from Saltery Bay and 12:55 pm departure from Earls Cove sailings are also expected to be delayed.
