Simons keeps passwords
New Democratic Party leadership candidate Nicholas Simons does not have to hand over his passwords for social media accounts to the BC NDP.
Simons, the MLA for Powell River-Sunshine Coast, came to a successful resolution with the party over social media privacy issues on Monday, March 7.
In a statement, the party said Simons has provided evidence to it showing that all aspects of his social networking sites are public and a review that satisfies its social media policy has taken place.
Simons has handed in his nomination package, complete with a $15,000 deposit.
