qathet Regional District (qRD) staff will be directed to renew the agreement with Powell River Academy of Music for a four-year term to provide the society with annual funding of $9,000.
The agreement may be extended for a renewal term of four years by mutual agreement of the parties on or before the date that is three months prior to the end of the term.
qRD directors made the decision at their regional board meeting on September 25.
