qathet Regional District (qRD) directors gave first three readings and final adoption to an election procedure amendment bylaw that will provide changes in voting during civic elections.
At the May 26 regional board meeting, directors unanimously passed a bylaw that revises the procedure so voting may be done by mail ballot, and registration of an elector may be done by mail in conjunction with mail ballot voting.
