qathet artist embraces slow fashion with fibre

Pillows, hand-spun yarn and art on gallery wall for month of September

Multidisciplinary qathet area artist Laura Balducci has her installation titled, Iridescently, on the Maker’s Wall at qathet Art and Wares for the month of September.  

Balducci stated that, “each item is one-of-a-kind, handcrafted, created with hand-spun yarn.”

Balducci added that her passion today is working with fibre, texture, colour and contributing to the “slow fashion” movement.

Located on the gallery wall at 6812B Alberni Street, folks are welcome to stop by Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm.
