High wind conditions in qathet Regional District have led to power outages throughout the region.
According to BC Hydro’s outage list, as of 11:30 am on December 14, there were eight outages throughout the district, both north and south of Powell River, as well as in the city itself. According to the BC Hydro website, there were more than 3,000 qathet region customers without power.
