Powell River Villa Soccer Club recently handed out awards for the 2022/2023 season.
Honoured for their performances over the course of the Vancouver Island Soccer League season were: [from left] Cullen Buholzer - Unsung Hero; Griffin Leach - Most Sportsmanlike; Nick Van’t Schip - MVP; Matt Liknes - Fan Choice MVP; Richard (Chico) Murphy - True Grit; Jake Kenmuir - Most Dedicated; and Russell Piele - Most Improved.
Ori Fisher, who was unable to attend and is not pictured, was named rookie of the year.
