Powell River RCMP locate firearms, drugs and drug paraphernalia in search

On Thursday, November 21, at approximately 3:52 pm, Powell River RCMP responded to a report of a fight in progress in the 9600 block of Woodlynn Road, south of the city.

According to an RCMP media release on Monday, November 25, upon arrival, police located suspects inside a residence at that location.

After a short time, both suspects came out of the house and were arrested. A search warrant was executed on the residence and a number of firearms, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located inside.  

A 41-year-old male is facing charges of breach of an undertaking, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and firearms-related offences.

A 35-year-old female is also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and firearms-related offences.
