On March 11, Powell River RCMP received a report that a vehicle had its window smashed while parked at Mowat Bay Park. The owner advised that he believed the damage occurred on the night of March 10 or the early morning hours of March 11.
Upon further investigation, six other vehicles were located with broken windows. After damaging the vehicles, the unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the vehicles and made off with power tools, a credit card and loose change.
Police are asking anyone in the area with security cameras to check the footage and contact them if anything suspicious is noted.
