At approximately 4:45 am on June 7, Powell River RCMP responded to a report that the back doors of the Powell River courthouse had been smashed. The suspects did not enter the building on Alberni Street after the glass was broken, according to police.
Police reviewed video surveillance and observed what appeared to be two youth each throw a rock at the glass doors and then run away heading northbound.
