At approximately 8:17 am on December 17, Powell River RCMP received a report of a disturbance at the Town Centre mall.
An employee reported that he was outside the mall waiting for a ride home when a male who was known to him approached. The two began arguing and the male threatened to stab and beat up the employee.
The male was arrested for uttering threats and released to appear in provincial court.
