At a meeting on April 6, City of Powell River Council voted to appoint councillor Earl Almeida as the council liaison committee member of the Northern Sunshine Coast Tourism Advisory Committee.
Almeida is the current liaison with Tourism Powell River.
Northern Sunshine Coast Tourism Advisory Committee is a committee of Sunshine Coast Tourism and aims to meet three times annually.
