Powell River RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Michael (Mike) Dudra, who is wanted on two unendorsed warrants out of Powell River. He is charged with dangerous driving, prohibited driving, flight from police and breach.
Dudra is described as a Caucasian male, five-feet ten-inches tall and 220 pounds with grey hair and green eyes. He is known to drive a grey Chevrolet Cobalt with a black hood and black trunk and bumper, BC licence plate LF7 11F.
Anyone with information about Dudra’s whereabouts is asked to contact Powell River RCMP at 604.485.6255 or call 911.
December 23
Powell River RCMP responded to a call that a man had been found deceased in Saltery Bay Provincial Park. Police attended and conducted an investigation with BC Coroners Service while Capilano Highways assisted with park security. The investigation is ongoing, however, the death is not believed to be suspicious and there is no concern for public safety.

Powell River RCMP responded to 101 total calls for service from December 18 to 24, including three thefts, three break and enters, three for impaired driving, six related to assaults, one case of mischief and five related to mental health.
