Powell River RCMP reported the following for December 12 to 18, 2019.

December 17; Kemano Street and Manson Avenue
At approximately 9:04 am, police responded to a report of a theft near the intersection of Kemano Street and Manson Avenue. Sometime between December 13 and 15, someone entered a work trailer after prying off the padlock. A metal cut-off saw, valued at approximately $1,700, was stolen from inside the trailer.
December 16; Marine Avenue, 5400 block
At approximately 12:14 pm, police responded to a report of a break and enter at Brooks Secondary School. At approximately 7 am on December 14, one of the school’s portables was entered and an Epson overhead projector, valued at approximately $1,000, was taken from inside. After reviewing surveillance footage, police are seeking a possible suspect who was wearing dark clothing and carrying or riding a bike.
