Aerial snapshots of the latest in paving work at Powell River Airport [above] were taken by local pilot Tye Leishman this past weekend, highlighting the progress made since he took photos from above the airport on April 28, and again on May 15.
Construction is currently on pace to end on June 3, according to a presentation by City of Powell River director of infrastructure Tor Birtig at city hall on May 15. The city's runway rehabilitation is on time and on budget.
