People interested in helping to develop a bicycle network plan are invited to participate in a planning session.
City of Powell River officials have organized the event from 6:30 to 9 pm on Thursday, March 31 in the Spruce Room at Powell River Recreation Complex.
The public is invited to provide input into and discuss ideas for a bicycle network plan within city boundaries.
This will be an opportunity for the public to discuss needs and preferences for bicycle routes that could be designated and developed as a part of a network across the city. Visual displays will be available that include maps and aerial photos to assist with route designation and to identify hazards, preferred routes and topography.
Cycling representatives from various local groups will be on hand to give input and share information with participants.
