At the December 6, qathet Regional District (qRD) board meeting, directors authorized the signing of Powell River Public Library’s service agreement with the qRD.
According to a staff report, as was presented at the November 1 qRD finance committee meeting, the proposed library budget for 2024 outlines the annual contribution from the qRD as $453,548, an increase of 4.5 per cent over that of 2023.
