EARLY SPRING: More signs of spring are popping up around the qathet region, including the daffodil flower [above]. The first week of April looks promising, with a mix of sun and cloud in the forecast, but little chance of rain and temperatures rising above 10 for most of the week.

There is a saying, "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb," which describes the unpredictability and changeable weather often seen in March as the month transitions from winter to spring.

The qathet region certainly had its fair share of blustery and cold rainy days in March, but now the weather seems to be slowly moving toward warmer temperatures and sunshine.

April 1 is also known as April Fool's Day, so be careful of potentially being fooled by a fake news post today.

The Weatherhood forecast today is for a daytime temperature of 10 degrees, but still dipping to five degrees overnight. Wednesday, April 2, the daytime temperature is forecast to rise to eight degrees and will dip to four degrees overnight. On Thursday and Friday, there is little chance of rain with temperatures rising to 12 degrees on Friday, April 4.
