4800 Marine Avenue

At approximately 1 am the complainant parked their vehicle at location. When they returned an hour later the vehicle was missing. The vehicle is described as a blue 1989 Toyota Tercel bearing BC Plate 817 TGV. The vehicle was locked at the time of the incident and the owner had the keys. Joyce Avenue at Barnet Street

Police were called to a report of a pedestrian collision at location. Upon arrival it was learned a 46-year-old female from Powell River was legally crossing the street on a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a red 2005 Chevrolet pickup making a left turn onto Joyce Avenue from Barnet Street. The female received minor injuries. The 69-year-old male driver from Powell River was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.

4400 bock Marine Avenue

Police were called to location regarding a very intoxicated female yelling on the street and refusing to depart the area. Patrols were made and a 20-year-old female from Powell River was located. The female was observed to be intoxicated and uncooperative. She was arrested accordingly and lodged in cells to sober.
