1. March 21
5000 block Joyce Avenue
At 6:44 pm police received a report of a theft from a vehicle. The vehicle, a black Ford Explorer, was parked in a city institution parking lot when an Ipod, valued at approximately $350, was taken from it. This occurred between 11:20 am and 1 pm the same day. 2. March 24
Joyce Avenue
At 3:35 pm police received a report of two males sleeping in a parking lot. Police attended and located the males, who both showed signs of intoxication. Both males were arrested and lodged in cells for their own safety and released without charges once sober.
3. March 26
4200 block Westview Avenue
At 4:53 am police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence. A witness observed a male enter an apartment through a window. When police arrived, the 28-year-old male was located leaving the apartment. The male was arrested and is facing a charge of break and enter.
4. March 27
4500 block Franklin Avenue
At 4:02 pm police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business. The break in occurred sometime during the evening on March 25. A number of items including two dirt bikes, $120 in cash, and a paintball gun were taken from the premises.
