1. February 19
4800 block Joyce Avenue
At 12:49 am police responded to a report of an intoxicated youth at a business. When police arrived the youth fled on foot. The youth was located a short time later. He was given a ride to his residence, and was charged for being intoxicated in public under the Liquor Control and Licensing Act.
2. February 19
7000 block Alberni Street
At 12:47 pm police responded to a complaint of mischief. Graffiti was sprayed on the side of a business sometime during the previous night. Anybody with information about this incident is asked to contact Powell River RCMP at 604.485.6255 or CrimeStoppers 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS).
3. February 21
7000 block Nootka Street
At 12:59 am police responded to a mischief complaint. A female reported that an unknown male was sitting in her vehicle when she left work. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, but the male got out of the car and left on a BMX bike. The male was described as being 177 centimetres (five feet 10 inches) tall and wearing baggy jeans and a hoodie. Patrols were made, but the male was not located.
